Project Details
Description
This project will develop a specialist‑led toolkit that captures and refines Letchworth Garden City’s distinctive place‑based cultural learning methodology. Led by the UH research team, the co‑constructed toolkit will document co‑creation processes, curriculum links, and community‑anchored practice as they develop throughout the year. Rooted in Letchworth’s identity as the world’s first Garden City and a pioneering model of modern placemaking, it will test how this locally grounded approach can be adapted for use in other UK towns. Its publication will mark a key moment in Letchworth’s 125th anniversary celebrations in 2028, sharing a clear, practical model for others to adopt.
