Description

We plan to investigate whether C. difficile cells normally resistant to phage infection can be sensitised by co-culture with phage-sensitive cells. We hypothesize that phage receptors present on cell walls can be transferred from phage-sensitive cells to phage-resistant cells via membrane vesicles (MV) produced by phage-sensitive C. difficile during co-culture
