Principle Insurance Holdings Ltd is a Shariah-compliant insurance company that plans to implement a new Management Information System (MIS) for its Takaful Retail Insurance products. As the Project Lead for the new MIS for Takaful Retail Insurance project, I had a crucial role in ensuring the success of the initiative.

I had to manage multiple work packages, projects, and programs simultaneously and ensure that all stakeholders were satisfied. However, the project was not without its challenges, including high levels of unpredictability and risk, conflicting objectives, and multiple interdependent stakeholders with potentially competing interests. To manage these challenges, I had to adopt a strategic approach. I communicated effectively with all stakeholders, from the management team to the IT team, to understand their requirements and concerns. I also had to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances as the project progressed. For example, when we encountered unforeseen technical issues, I worked closely with the technical team to find solutions and ensure that the project remained on track.

Managing multiple work packages, projects, and programs also required careful planning and prioritization. I had to ensure that all tasks were completed on time and within budget. To achieve this, I created a detailed project plan and timeline and allocated resources accordingly. I also regularly reviewed progress and adjusted the plan as necessary to ensure that we remained on track.
