Description

Healthy, home-cooked meals are key in children’s development: they provide balanced nutrition and encourage healthy eating habits. Involving children in cooking builds their life skills and fosters family bonding. However, cost, limited skills, or perceptions of healthy meals as too challenging discourage
families from cooking at home.
We want to create a cookbook with recipes for simple, wholesome, and affordable meals which will include information about nutrition, budgeting, and leftover ideas. Building on the successful Community Kitchen programme run by the Stevenage Football Club Foundation, this practical resource will broaden the programme’s reach while providing a real-life difference to families.
