Skill Up Award – University of Hertfordshire

Awarded Skill Up funding to attend the Earth Rising Festival at IMMA, Dublin. The grant supported international networking and the development of practice-led doctoral research in queer ecology, sustainable sculpture, and more-than-human collaboration.

Attending the Earth Rising Festival at IMMA, Dublin, provided valuable insights that directly informed my doctoral research. The event highlighted how ecological, sustainable, and more-than-human themes are central to current international art practice, validating the focus of my project. It also offered opportunities to build networks with artists, curators, and researchers working across art, science, and activism. Exposure to community-based practices suggested new directions for my own research.
