The Impact of Quality Standard on the Governance of Small and Medium-Sized Charities in England

Commercial engagement through the Social Enterprise Unit (SEU) has yielded a potential high impact research project. Working collaboratively with an external client the research team proposes to investigate the impact of a novel Quality Standard (IQ) targeted at the governance, strategy and operations of Small and Medium-sized Charities (SMCs). The results of this multi-stage project would be adopted by the client through the continued development and roll out of the standard. We are seeking an agreement in principle is for funding by the client in the region of £3000 to support the project.
