This project will examine how mother entrepreneurs are managing during the pandemic, given evidence that mothers have taken on the majority of additional childcare during the crisis. It will focus on how mother entrepreneurs make sense of and cope with the competing demands of motherhood, family care and running a business during the pandemic. It will also evaluate the impact of their idiosyncratic crisis management on both business practices and personal wellbeing, and develop recommendations to support their critical roles.
