Description

This is an ongoing study studying parental discourse using the Meaning of the Child Interview (MotC) form of attachment informed discourse analysis, a method developed by Dr Ben Grey and colleagues. It is an overarching project encompassing the validation of the MotC, and its use in forensic, child welfare and clinical settings.

Layman's description

The MotC is a tool to understand parent-child relationships from the way parents speak about their children and their parenting. It is used internationally in a variety of settings to plan and support intervention with families in clinical, forensic and child welfare settings.
