The meanings of recovery: a dialogue across the sociologies of mental health, physical illness, injury and addiction

A two-day research Symposium, to be held at the University of Surrey 11-12th July 2016. The Symposium will bring together academics and postgraduate research students who have theoretical and empirical interests in ‘recovery’ in the context of mental health, physical illness or injury and addiction. Despite prima facie cross-over there has been little dialogue about recovery between these domains.
