Description

This is a retrospective bid associated with the University of Portsmouth, who have been awarded funding from the Institute of Physics and are now sharing some of it (£3000) with UH to help cover some of Jim and Bushra's time.
The SPHERE PP concerns physics education research that explores the role of computational physics in the development of physics conceptual understanding. Understanding how students best develop computational problem solving skills within a physics degree, in order to improve their conceptual understanding and achievement. The SPHERE PP ends at the end of March 2017, but Portsmouth and UH are already collaborating on another bid to the Institute of Physics to continue the work already started.
