‘Tooling Up: Supporting Integration and Co-production through Exploration of Tools and Skills in the Museum of Bath @ Work’s Collection’

The Museum of Bath at Work (MoB@W) offers unique opportunity to work hands-on with heritage collections to facilitate object-handling as a form of therapeutic communication. This project proposes establishing an Art Psychotherapy group using creative expression for mental and psychological assimilation and health, enabling reflection on emotional and psychological wellbeing through integration, skills’ sharing and heritage collection object handling. Co-designed with marginalised, disadvantaged male participants, it offers real-world impact through interdisciplinary partnership and collaboration, facilitated by an experienced Art Psychotherapist and museum engagement staff.
