Project Details
Description
This project follows up research that led to the development of a ‘degrees of democracy’ framework, based on the concept of holistic democracy. The framework is designed as a supportive, reflective tool for practitioners, students and others in educational and other organisations and professional settings. It helps enable practitioners to widen their understanding of leadership and organisational change, and the relationship of these to deeper questions of purpose and knowledge, and to identify and support possibilities for change in professional and organisational practice. Examples of use and evidence of impact are being sought throughout 2012, with the support of a QR SGCC Impact small grant, through collection of qualitative data (interviews, notes of practitioner comments and feedback during and after sessions, etc.) and administration of an evaluation sheet where feasible.
