Translating AMR Research into Parliamentary Action: A Multi-Stakeholder Roundtable

This project will convene a focused two-hour parliamentary roundtable at Westminster, bringing together MPs, UK Health Security Agency representatives, and leading AMR researchers to translate antimicrobial resistance evidence into actionable UK policy. Building directly on my written evidence to parliamentary with regards to the Public Accounts Committee inquiry on AMR, alongside my published parliamentary article, the roundtable shifts focus from scrutiny to delivery. Working with the APPG on Antimicrobial Resistance, the project brings together stewardship leaders, UKHSA colleagues, and patient lived-experience voices to generate policy-ready recommendations. Outputs
include a professional policy brief and a peer-reviewed academic publication co-authored with participating MPs.
