Translating AMR Research into Parliamentary Action: A Multi-Stakeholder Roundtable

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This ESRC-funded project convenes a parliamentary roundtable at the House of Commons, bringing together MPs, UK Health Security Agency representatives, clinical experts, and patient advocates to translate antimicrobial resistance research into actionable UK policy. Building on written evidence submitted to the Public Accounts Committee inquiry on AMR (AR0005), the event co-creates evidence-based recommendations for the UK National Action Plan on AMR.

Layman's description

Antibiotic resistance is a growing threat. This project brings researchers, doctors, patient advocates, and MPs together at the House of Commons to turn research evidence into real policy action. The event will produce recommendations for Government and a published report.
