Under the lens: Deciphering the star-formation physics in the early Universe

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

What were the physical processes driving the vigorous formation of new stars in galaxies 10 billion years ago?

This project will provide the first systematic, zoomed-in view of the thermodynamics of extreme galaxies in the early Universe and allow a direct comparison with both studies of local galaxies and state-of the art simulations.
