The University Enterprise Zone Lab consultancy services programme is funded through the RED fund from Research England. This programme aims to support SMEs and Start up business to develop new products and services.
Delight Supported Living Ltd provides care and support services to the elderly and frail vulnerable adults who live at home, in most cases alone or with an elderly spouse. They need monitoring through assistive technology for swift response in the event of an accident/incident. In this project, we investigated how to recognise human activity using Machine Learning techniques. Multiple deep learning models for human action recognition were developed.
