The University Enterprise Zone Lab consultancy services programme is funded through the RED fund from Research England. This programme aims to support SMEs and Start up business to develop new products and services.
Queuing is something which everyone encounters in their daily life, and people are usually unhappy if they have to wait in a queue for a long time. In this project, we tried to predict/calculate querying time using three methods, including mathematical model. Erlang prediction formula and machine learning. Knowing waiting time would allow business to plan their resources and customers to plan their time accordingly.
