Unseen Lines: Adoption, Faith, and the Irish Landscape

This project explores how experiences of adoption, faith, and the Irish landscape can be understood through creative, community-focused activities. Through fieldwork in Dublin, Galway, and Tuam, and by running pilot sculpture workshops with local participants—supported by an art therapist—the project will test gentle, accessible ways of discussing sensitive histories. Materials, mould-making, and casting processes will help participants explore personal stories through hands-on making. Outreach, inclusive engagement, and a public event at Tuam Community Hall will help identify how future collaborative work and wider impact can be developed with affected communities.
