Description
As the project manager for the Wealth Management Data Warehouse FCA Remediation Project, I oversaw a significant initiative aimed at addressing regulatory concerns raised by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding UBS's wealth management operations. Our team's main objective was to remediate deficiencies in UBS's data management and reporting capabilities related to the suitability of investment advice provided to clients.
To achieve this, we worked closely with a team of technology and data experts, as well as regulatory specialists, to implement a new data warehouse platform that could gather, store, and analyse client data, investment recommendations, and other relevant information. The implementation of this platform was a critical step in enhancing UBS's compliance capabilities and better assessing the suitability of investment advice provided to clients.
