Project Details

Description

The WISH programme supports Objective 15 of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Gender Equality Strategy, to have more women eligible to participate as coaches at world/Olympic Games. WISH has been ongoing since 2019 with an established partnership agreement between UH and the IOC.

A recent report demonstrates the impact of WISH for the coaches involved, with co-produced accessible materials to disseminate findings. This proposed project is to follow up this work with a ‘deep dive’ into the enablers and barriers for women coaches in each of the Olympic sports to produce a consensus statement for accelerating the impact of WISH.
