Abstract

The design and development of two man worn Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) aerosol collection platform prototypes. These prototypes should interface with a, co-developed, laboratory particle recovery instrument exploiting Electrowetting on Dielectric (EWOD) techniques. The ESP system will focus on the collection and subsequent analysis of potentially harmful airborne pathogens in the 1 - 10um size range.
