Abstract

The use of food aid by PAH is an understudied area, with the resulting knowledge gap limiting our ability to effectively support older people who experience food poverty. As part of a mixed methods study which also features an ethnographic exploration, the scoping review aims to map current academic knowledge on the subject both in the UK and in the countries belonging to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. The evidence generated can help improve resource allocation and inform policy decisions to better address food insecurity and malnutrition among older adults.
The poster summarises common themes and highlights key issues identified during the review.
