Abstract

this paper introduces a new type of machine that is intended to transform sustainable solar energy into electrical power via the attachment of an additional generator, for space applications. The energy transformation mechanism is via a set of radial pre- curved bimetallic blades arranged in a similar way to a gas turbine layout. The blades are cyclically heated and cooled thus producing a linear force that is translated into rotary output motion in the machine.
