Abstract
There are many tools available to farmers and other agricultural stakeholders to help them calculate their carbon footprint. However, each has been designed for its own specific purpose and each has its own pros and cons. This presentation considers five of the main tools and, based on a research study, discusses the differences between them and the implications this has for individual farm use and for wide policy applications such as benchmarking, assurance schemes and food labelling.
