Abstract
Original Soundtrack Composed for Feature Length horror film 'American Beast', which has been released through Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Available via Amazon both in physical DVD form, and digitally on the associated Amazon Prime service. Composed and recorded in the UK, the music soundtrack compliments the visuals with a mixture of horror styles including electro 1980's, traditional orchestral, ambient/ textural, and modern/ contemporary cues. Throughout all of these approaches, the key themes reoccur to support the storyline. After his mother’s death, James Erikson discovers her old storage locker filled with journals and newspapers of his family's history. As he researches it, he finds out about the evil creature that his family has tried to contain for several generations, beginning in 1939 on a mysterious piece of property in an American small town.
