Abstract

A premiere recording of 'Cabaret Concerto' by Martin Ellerby, commissioned by Philip Mead which is one of the results of a fifteen year research project to create a new genre of music - that of music music and brass.The work is a series of jazz movements inspired by paintings of Whistler recorded by its dedicatee.
