Abstract

This paper describes the progress of a research project aimed at optically characterising the degree of deformation suffered by liquid droplets within the TSI Aerodynamic Particle Sizer APS3320 with a view to providing a means of automatically correcting for the errors in measured aerodynamic size caused by this deformation.
