    Abstract

    The aim of this text book is to provide an evidenced based, concise and relevant information on a range of clinical skills that are required by the children’s nurse today in order to meet care needs of the child and their family both in the hospital and community setting. This book is aimed at student nurses and registered nurses as it will be a useful guide to inform their practice. For the nurse lecturer it can be a valuable resource to assist with the teaching of clinical skills. It provides need to know information that is current and this information is supported with the use of relevant diagrams and illustrations thus meeting the many needs of different learning styles
