Abstract

When looking at the needs of the older patient, several issues arise related to the use of medical devices and technologies. Making allowances for physical capacity and cognitive ability, for example, can be crucial to enabling the effective use of medical therapies. This article examines the landscape of patient-device interactions that could determine therapeutic outcomes in older patients.
