Abstract
This project investigated bass frequencies in the city and their ubiquity in everyday sounds and cultural signifcance. The field recording were made using parks and fountains with geo- and hydrophones to record through the material, using the earth and water as conduits for bass. These recordings were composed into two new pieces and published online along with drawings and text pieces in the print publication.
