Abstract

This book is composed in an engaging and interesting language and style, with a vision of describing key topics of Criminal Law courses concisely. The book utilises a diverse range of learning methods which provides students with good support. Learning objectives, points to think about, and a range of tables and figures promote active learning. This enables students to perceive the main facts and principles, and helps students to assess their comprehension of the subject as they work through the course. Each chapter concludes via a summary of the main topics, some questions for revision, and two examination-style questions. Some rough answers to these are available to read online. The text's simple structure and cross-referencing aids students to work through the many aspects of Criminal Law easily. Thus this book is ideal for students who are newly approaching law. An Online Resource Centre also gives a range of supplementary resources to give more support student study.
