Woods portrays how the values and theories of democratic leadership can be used in practice, and states some of the problems that democratic leadership brings in today’s education.
This text challenges many inherent presumptions of educational policies and typical methods of leadership. It enables the reader to comprehend and question both the idea of democratic leadership and its practice through examples drawn from both the world of education and academic research within it.
