Abstract

In this paper a leapfrog feedback filter architecture that uses only single-ended input and single-ended output (SISO) transconductors and grounded capacitors is described. The filter structure has all circuit nodes containing a grounded capacitor and requires only simple transconductors, thus suitable for higher frequency applications. To show the high frequency capability, a fifth-order linear phase UHF filter with gain boost has been designed using Nauta transconductor. This may be the first time that Nauta transcodunctors are used in HDD read channels.
