Diversity of Mycoviruses in Aspergilli

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Aspergilli are among the most extensively studied fungi due to their medical, ecological, and economic significance. Over the past 50 years research on Aspergillus mycoviruses has led to ground-breaking discoveries and enhanced our understanding of the virosphere, mycovirus replication cycle, inter- and intra-species transmission, and mycovirus-host interactions. In the light of the above, the present article is dedicated to mycoviruses infecting Aspergillus species.
