Abstract

This item is a review of Lou Agosta's text, 'Empathy in the Context of Philosophy.' This book applies the methods of phenomenology, self psychology, language analysis and interpretive suspicion to explore the concept of empathy. It discusses examples of empathy in story telling, literature, self psychology and neurology.
