Environmental monitoring and management - Environmental engineering education at CUT Kraków, Poland

The aim of this article is to describe the learning programme of environmental engineering, in particular, the environmental monitoring and environmental management courses in the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at Cracow University of Technology (CUT) in Kraków, Poland. The curriculum contents are given in the first part of the article. In the second part, the author describes the outcomes of education programmes including main objectives. The third part illustrates the educational cycle, including the real outcomes of the programme in relationship with the expected ones. By analysing the curriculum, the author attempts to explain the new approach to environmental monitoring and management adopted at CUT.
