Abstract

• Re-engineeering is examined from a human and moral perspective. • The human facets of re-engineering are featured and shown to be be the major challenge for management in business transformation. •Relevant ethical issues are highlighted and their relationship to the success of change management is demonstrated. •A stakeholder value-based management approach is advocated as a strategic future direction, combining both economic and ethical criteria.
