Abstract

This article discusses the concept of Garden Suburbs and the main projects conceived by Barry Parker during his stay in São Paulo (1917-1919), when he introduces, this concept into the city’s developments, also modernizing the urban byelaws, which indelibly marked the morphology of the city we know today.
