Abstract

When a big national disaster like an earthquake happens, media can be deployed very differently from how it is normally used. In Haiti, pastor Gregory runs a radio broadcast where he counsels people traumatised by the earthquake first on the radio and then he has an open door policy where victims can drop in for psycho-social help as in the case of Bellune Clauselle who lost her fiance and an am to the disaster.
