Abstract

The concept of solving health problems and promoting good health in people with learning disabilities is in its infancy. The push for integration of people with learning disabilities into the community and public services has lead to the recognition that they need the same level of treatment as everybody else. This book addresses the next stage of inclusion, in recognising their spiritual, legal, political and sexual rights via a practical focus and case studies to ground this theory.
