Abstract
This poster was featured in the Innovative Practice Examples (IPE) Zone at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) 2024 Annual Meeting, showcasing over 70 submissions of best practice examples, quality improvement initiatives, and novel services or projects. Aligned with the FIP Global Roadmap 2030 and the UN Sustainability Goals, this innovative poster focuses on antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) and introduces a groundbreaking Antibiotic Dashboard designed to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Drawing insights from three sequential studies—a systematic review, a cross-sectional retrospective review, and a prospective survey—the research highlights the effectiveness of AMS interventions and examines the impact of COVID-19 on antibiotic practices. The Innovative Antibiotic Dashboard includes interactive sections for empirical and pathogen-directed therapies, offering real-time data to enhance clinical decision-making. This tool is a vital resource for strengthening AMS, improving patient outcomes, and supporting global efforts to address AMR amidst evolving health challenges.
