    Abstract

    ATR-FTIR spectroscopic imaging permeation experiments of a model formulation across stratum corneum (SC) were conducted to acquire further understanding
    of the mechanism of drug permeation. Quantitative iterative target transformation factor analysis (QITTFA) was used for the analysis of the complex and
    highly overlapping spectroscopic data generated.
