Abstract

This dissertation analysed Berger's work across a range of media. It sought to divide his work into two approaches: one informed by his theory of cinema and the other by his theory of television. The dissertation covered Berger's novels, political essays, typography, sociological works, television documentaries, fiction films, photography, art historical monographs and fine art reviews.
