Abstract
Student-lecturer partnerships have mutual benefits in enhancing leadership skills and professional development. This article explores the principles of coaching and reverse mentorship through the perspectives of both mentor and mentee, and makes recommendations for successful partnerships. This is illustrated by the authors’ experience of a student-lecturer partnership as part of the Council of Deans of Health’s Student Leadership Programme.
