Lifeline: a musical on antimicrobial resistance — a short film on arts-based public engagement and Master of Public Health education at the University of Hertfordshire: A digital public engagement and educational resource on antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial stewardship

This short film documents a public engagement and Master of Public Health (MPH) education activity organised by the University of Hertfordshire at Lifeline, a musical on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) staged at Southwark Playhouse Elephant in May 2026. The film demonstrates the use of theatre, storytelling and arts-based approaches to communicate antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial stewardship and responsible antibiotic use to students, healthcare professionals and wider public audiences. Developed as an educational and dissemination resource, the video supports innovative approaches to AMR awareness, public engagement, health communication and stewardship education.
