Abstract
In this section, we showcase three recently built single family houses in Mexico that embrace their distinct settings. Each house maximizes its unique location, whether nestled within a dense pine forest or boasting breath taking ocean views. This relationship can be direct and close, where the owner can physically walk into the landscape from their house, like in the Tejocote House, or can be distant and indirect, where the landscape become part of the house mainly in a visual sense, like in Alférez House and Cañada House.
