Abstract
I was invited to have a solo exhibition, one of the first by a Western artist at the newly established Redtory Art District, Iron Curtain Gallery in Guangzhou, Southern China. Originally the exhibition was planned to finish on the 12 November but has been extended to close on 12 December 2012 due to its popularity with the public.
The exhibition consisted of two video portrait works; Adagio No. 8 Portrait of a Ballert Dancer and Oneiric; the photographic self portrait Anthropomorphous; and 28 drawings related to time-based work i.e time and movement.
The exhibition was part of the UK cultural festival in Southern China called UK NOW.
