Abstract

This paper addresses multiple loop feedback minimum component OTA-grounded capacitor all-pole filters. A general theory and its formulation are presented. It is shown that many new interesting configurations can be produced, all popular approximations including the Butterworth and Chebyshev characteristics are realizable and some known typical structures are also derivable from the method. The minimal number of elements, that is, n OTAs and n capacitors for n poles is achieved, all capacitors are grounded, equal-value transconductances and equal-value capacitances can be arbitrarily selected.
