Abstract
Whilst companies can monitor and report their own environmental impacts, classified as Scope 1 emissions, it is far harder for a company to monitor and control Scope 3 emissions, the environmental impacts of your supply chain partners, including suppliers and distributors. Yet, organizations should implement processes to monitor Scope 3 emissions to improve sustainability practices and brand reputation, meet stakeholder expectations, reduce costs and be able to address the environmental impact of their entire business operations.
