Abstract

This presentation was given using Microsoft Powerpoint and Microsoft Teams at the Doctoral Training Alliance (DTA) Energy Summer School 2020 on 9th September 2020. There is a video/audio recording of the session available to download, as well as a PDF of the Powerpoint slides.

The presentation gives an overview of the concept of open access, why it is important, how it can benefit researchers and how researchers can maximise the opportunities provided by open access publishing.
